UPC / EAN
The identifier for the release as a product — the album, the single.
A UPC (or EAN) identifies the commercial product: the album or single as released. One UPC per product. Your distributor usually supplies it. Retail, DSPs, and accounting use it. It is not an ISRC. Do not create a new UPC to game charts; stores and DSPs notice, and you splinter your own catalog.
