Need guidance on your craft? Ask me about songwriting structure, production techniques, mixing basics, or how to bring a concept to life. Whether you're a beatmaker, a vocalist, or both, I can point you in the right direction.
Craft that ships
A song needs a decision: verse-chorus, through-composed, hook up front. Pick one and finish. Unfinished 'ideas' are not a catalog.
Production is arrangement plus sound. If every section is the same density, the mix cannot save it. Leave air. Make the chorus a different room.
Mixing basics: one focal point at a time, high-pass the clutter, do not smash the master to win loudness-normalization. If you cannot hear the vocal, it is not mixed.
Paper the session the same day: split sheet, who owns the beat, who owns the master. Craft without splits is a future argument.
