AWAL
Distribution with a pulse. Selective, artist-friendly, still a deal.
Read the term, the opt-out, and who is pitching you. It is not a label, and it is not DistroKid.
AWAL (a Sony company) offers distribution, playlist pitching, and some marketing to artists they accept. You typically keep copyrights; they take a percentage. That can be the right middle path between DistroKid and a label 360. It is still a contract: exclusive term, recoupable costs if they spend, and a pitching team that will prioritize what they think will work. Apply when you have a catalog, a story, and proof of audience. Do not expect them to be your manager.
