Songtrust
Publishing administration without selling your publishing.
Admin is not a pub deal. Do not confuse a 15% collection fee with ownership.
Songtrust (and similar admins) register your songs with PROs and mechanical societies worldwide and take a commission on what they collect. You keep the copyright. That is the correct default for most independents who are not being offered a real creative pub deal. It is not magic — garbage metadata in, garbage royalties out. Deliver splits, writer names as they appear on PRO records, and titles that match the DSP. A 50/50 pub deal is a different animal: they own or co-own the copyright for a term.
